The Infinity Pro theme from StudioPress is an HTML5-compliant, accessibility ready, mobile responsive theme with a widgetized home page. It’s the first StudioPress theme to include styles for WooCommerce, a popular ecommerce platform.
In December 2018, StudioPress updated the theme to include block editor enhancements.
The home page is divided into 7 widgetized stripes; a row of 3 footer widgets appears on interior pages but not on the home page. There are 4 front page background images for the odd-numbered widget areas, which can be customized via the WordPress theme customizer. You can also specify a single accent color, which is used for some links, buttons, and hover states.
For widget areas Front Page 2 to Front Page 7 (not Front Page 1), the screenshot below illustrates how widget areas are presented based on the number of widgets placed into those widget areas. Note that every row doesn’t contain the same number of widgets, even though the overall width of each row is the same.
Infinity Pro also includes code and scripts that change the layout or add features, including:
- reducing the secondary navigation to a single level
- moving the secondary navigation to the footer and renaming it
- adding a script to match the height of the content and sidebar columns
- adding a script to smoothly scroll some elements on the front page
- adding a script to add the
white
class after scrolling 50 px - adding support for the icon font ionicons
Introduced on 11/09/16, Infinity Pro is a 2 column theme with 3 layout options. Three of the 6 standard Genesis layout options have been removed to simplify content creation. The theme includes 3 page templates: landing, lead capture, and team. The lead capture page is similar to a land page but adds a widget area at the bottom of the page; the team page template pulls all child pages of the page on which it is used, adding the page title, featured image, and data from a custom field of team_title
. Beyond the WordPress standards of custom menus and threaded comments, the Infinity Pro theme also supports custom headers and a mobile specific menu.
Infinity Pro also supports Google web fonts (specifically Cormorant Garamond and Raleway).
Here are all of the widget areas for the Infinity Pro theme:
When clicked, the Offscreen Content widget area transforms from the icon of 3 dots in the upper right of the menu area to full screen content.
We’ve got a live demo of the Infinity Pro theme that shows off its basic features.
