Page Templates

A page template in WordPress is a pre-defined way to present a page (as opposed to a post). Some themes come with 1 or more pre-defined page templates; others don't. You can pick the template for each page in the WordPress page editor; if you don't change it, WordPress will use the default page template. The most common page template included in our themes is a landing page, such as the landing page on the StudioPress Lifestyle Pro theme. Another popular page template included in many Genesis themes is the archive template. This archive is a great way to identify themes with 1 or more page templates if that's an important feature for your site.
