The Mocha 2 theme from StudioPress is a mobile responsive theme with a blog style home page. It’s a refresh of the original Mocha theme, one of the themes introduced along with the Genesis framework. We’ve tagged the original version as a retired theme, but we’ll keep both versions available so you can choose the version that best suits your needs.
The Mocha 2 theme includes an after post widget area and 5 color styles (blue, green, orange, pink, and red – the default).
Introduced on 4/5/12, Mocha 2 is a 3 column theme with 2 layout options – either full width or 3 columns with both the primary and secondary sidebars displayed. Out of the box, there’s no option to display a single sidebar. Beyond the WordPress standards of custom menus and threaded comments, Mocha 2 also supports custom backgrounds and Google web fonts (specifically, Dancing Script and Droid Serif). The selected fonts add about 87 Kb to the site’s page weight, which is a lot for typography.
